Street Art Tour of London
Explore East End’s most authentic neighbourhoods during this 2.5-hour walking street art tour and discover some of the city’s best urban paintings by influential artists such as Banksy, Roa and ‘Stik’.
Why the East End?
The East End, walking distance from historic London, has become in recent years the up and coming area of the capital. Its culturally diverse neighbourhoods like Brick Lane are a charming mix of old and new. Home to great pop-ups packed with cool clothes and accessories, curry houses and nightclubs, this area is not to be missed.
Street Art Tour
Meet your local guide outside Liverpool St Station at 2:30 pm and set off on a 2.5-hour tour of a few of the district’s coolest neighbourhoods. Learn how the East End has developed, the waves of immigration and how it was once infamous for its violence and poverty.
Throughout the tour, you’ll stop to admire colourful and impressive street art by some of the most respected and notorious urban artists out there, including Banksy, the secretive British artist. You’ll wander down some of the most famous arteries for urban paintings like Hanbury Street, home to a remarkable depiction of a crane.
You will also have time to check out Old Spitalfields and Petticoat Lane markets, packed with antiques, souvenirs, fashion and art stalls.
At the end of the guided tour, we suggest you remain in the vibrant Shoreditch neighbourhood, where you can continue to explore this internationally recognized creative hub at your own pace.
