Harry Potter Tour of London
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Clermont Hotel, Charing Cross to begin this 3-hour Harry Potter walking tour of London. On the tour, we'll visit the areas that inspired J.K. Rowling's imagination and various Harry Potter filming locations!
First, we'll head to Great Scotland Yard, where Harry enters the Ministry of Magic via a telephone box in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
Then, we'll pass by Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square, where all the premieres of the films took place and crowds of fans gathered to see the actors walk the red carpet. These areas also appear in the opening scene of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince when Death Eaters swoop down over Trafalgar Square and head off along Charing Cross Road!
We'll also stop at Garrick Theatre, which hosts a family-friendly condensed version of Harry Potter, and Palace Theatre, which is home to the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, a story that takes place 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.
Next, we'll go to Leadenhall Market, a Victorian indoor market with a quaint, old-world air. This historic shopping area was one of the filming locations for Diagon Alley, where wizards would go shopping in the Harry Potter universe. Then, we'll visit Claremont Square, the filming location for 12 Grimmauld Place, aka the House of Black and The Order of the Phoenix HQ.
Afterwards, we'll make our way to St. Pancras Station and the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, where Harry and Ron take off in a flying Ford Anglia after missing the train to Hogwarts in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Finally, we'll arrive at Platform 9 3/4 in King's Cross Station! Here, you'll get the chance to take the popular photo of you disappearing into the wall. Then, we'll conclude the tour by heading to the official Harry Potter shop to buy some souvenirs and merchandise.
The activity takes place with a guide that speaks in English.
