The London Pass is a sightseeing package that offers access to 80 attractions in London, including to landmarks such as Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, a cruise down the River Thames, among many others. It is a definite must-have!

The London Pass

Among all the attractions included in the London Pass, the 10 most-visited are:

  • Tower of London
  • Westminster Abbey
  • The View from The Shard
  • St. Paul's Cathedral
  • Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus Tour
  • Cruise down the River Thames
  • Tower Bridge
  • Kensington Palace
  • Kew Gardens
  • Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre

The entrance fees to these top ten attractions add up to over £ 200 (US$ 246.90), but The London Pass includes many more interesting things to see, for example, the Benjamin Franklin House, Science Museum and London Transport Museum.

Some of the attractions, such as The View from The Shard, require a booking made in advance. You can find out more and check out all the attractions included in the London Pass here.

Skip the queues!

As well as gaining access to the attractions, in some of them, you'll even be able to skip the long box office queues where people can spend hours waiting during peak season.

How does it work?

The London Pass claims it offers unlimited access to all its attractions, but really it has a credit limit. Luckily it's almost impossible to reach this limit.

  • 1 Day Pass:£ 195 (US$ 240.70) for adults and £ 145 (US$ 179) for children
  • 2 Day Pass£ 295 (US$ 364.20) for adults and £ 195 (US$ 240.70) for children
  • 3 Day Pass£ 370 (US$ 456.80) for adults and £ 245 (US$ 302.40) for children.
  • 6 Day Pass£ 625 (US$ 771.60) for adults and £ 370 (US$ 456.80) for children.

That means, that for a 6-day card which costs £ 155 (US$ 191.30), you can visit attractions up to a value of £ 625 (US$ 771.60).

The London Pass will be activated when you use it for the first time. From then on, you can use it for the number of days you've booked consecutively. Although when making the reservation you'll be asked for a start date, you can use the service over the 24 months following the start date. The card allows you to access each attraction once.
