Ticket for the State Rooms and Gardens
This ticket will give you access to the official residence of Queen Elizabeth II. The monarch spends her summer holidays in Scotland, which is when Buckingham Palace opens its doors to the general public. You can explore its elegant rooms and halls and admire the English and French style period furniture and decoration.
This ticket gives you access to the State Rooms. These 19 elegant halls are used by both the Queen and her family for official receptions and formal events. Together they form an art gallery in their own right, with masterpieces by Van Dyck, Rembrandt, Rubens, and Canaletto.
The ticket also includes an audio-guided tour of the gardens of Buckingham Palace. This beautiful green space is home to more than 30 different species of birds and 350 different types of wildflowers. This route concludes with a delightful stroll around the southern area of the gardens, where you will enjoy views of the famous royal lake which faces the western side of the palace.

27th July to 31st August:
- Monday to Friday: 10:45 am, 2:45 pm, 4:15 pm, 4:45 pm.
- Sundays: 3:30 pm, 4:15 pm, 4:45 pm, 5:15 pm.
1st September to 30th September:
- Monday to Friday: 10:45 am, 2:45 pm, 3:15 pm, 4:15 pm.
- Sundays: 2:45 am, 3:15 pm, 4:15 pm.
Ticket for the State Rooms and Royal Mews
This ticket will give you access to the official residence of Queen Elizabeth II, and you'll see some of the royal chambers used by the royal during her official functions at Buckingham Palace. In the different rooms, you'll be able to appreciate the refined period furniture with English and French style decoration.

When you buy the ticket for the State Rooms and Royal Mews, you have a selection of specific times in which you can visit the palace:
27th July to 25th September:
- Monday to Friday: 10:15 am, 12:15 pm and 2:15 pm. These three times are for the visit to the Royal Mews. The visit to the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace will take place one hour after, so 11:15 am, 1:15 pm and 3:15 pm.
