At the end of Whitehall Street stands the magnificent Banqueting House, one of the oldest buildings in London. With this ticket, you'll get to explore the only part of Whitehall Palace that survived the fire of 1698!
Inside you'll discover a unique work of art: Rubens' ceiling. This masterpiece is by the Flemish artist Sir Peter Paul Rubens and is his only surviving ceiling painting in its original place. As you walk through the Banqueting House, you'll also be transported back in time to some of the lavish banquets and masques that took place there in the 17th century.
